Andrea Mezvinsky, the New York based- actress and comic has appeared on The Oprah Winfrey show ( As America's Funniest Mom), Bravo, Fox, and the Hallmark Channel. She most recently performed in "Turning Points" (A festival of new women's plays) at The Cherry Lane Theatre and co-stared in the Independant film "Storm Up the Sky" " opposite Richard Mazur. Other credits include: "Open Admissions" on CBS, "The Perfect Woman" on The Sundance Channel, and the lead in the Independant film "Gratuitous Sex" at the Tribeca Film Center. Andrea's theatre credits include: the Off-Broadway hit "Grandma Sylvia's Funeral" at the Soho Playhouse, :Soul Survivors" at Lincoln Center, and her one-woman show "Sometimes Over the Summer" at the John Houseman Theatre and featured in the Midtown International Theatre Festival. Andrea performs regularly on the stand-up circuit at such clubs as The Comic Strip, Caroline's and Catch a Rising Star. Andrea's first job in show business was as a magician's assistant where she performed the zigzag lady trick ( being sawed in half while standing up) five nights a week.
